- START GR112999 Car Park on A628
- From the car park follow the A-
road East for 250m to the Longdendale Trans- Pennine Trail. Turn right onto this and follow it for 6km to the road at (058982) - Go down the lane opposite and cross the weir between Torside and Rhodeswood reservoirs. Turn right through a gate and follow the waymarked track to the A628. Cross the A-
road and turn up the Pennine Way. After 1.5km turn right and follow signs for Crowden YH. - From Crowden follow the A628 to a track at (080995). Bear left up the track which eventually rejoins the A628. Continue along the A-
road to another track at (096999) - Turn left up this track which is followed for over 2km to a junction at (117001). Turn right here and descend to the A628. Turn right for 250m back to the car park.
