- START GR934903 Bainbridge Village.
- Head SW on the Countersett road for 1.2km, then at a bend keep straight on onto a walled track (Roman Road)
- Follow this, climbing steadily for 4km and just past a junction with footpaths, take a bridleway left (886873). Follow this to a broken wall and keep straight on at a track junction (no obvious track at first). Continue through gates to reach the road above Countersett. (912878).
- Descend into the village taking the first turn right then almost immediately left to descend to Semer Water. Stay on the road as it climbs up past Low Bean to a junction at (923868)
- Turn left and follow the road for 3.5km to the A684. Turn left for 300m along the A-
road back into Bainbridge Village.
