• START GR 876898 Visitor Car Park in Hawes

• Turn East along the A684 for 1.4km. Turn right to Burtersett and climb to a T-junction. Turn right and immediately left onto a stony track. Stay on the track to a gate after 1.6km then fork right on an obvious track to contour round Wether Fell. Join a clear track (873864)

• Turn right and follow this to a road. Follow the road for 4km to a junction with the Pennine Way at (830834)
• Follow the Pennine Way for 3.8km  to the point where it leaves West Cam Rd. (843869), and fork right to continue to follow it down past Gaudy House.

• Turn left onto a road then right at the Junction with the B6255 to get back to Hawes
