• Route not described. Made more difficult by closure of the Tyne Pedestrian/Cycle Tunnel.
• Best to start at the North Tunnel entrance and wait for the bus with trailer to take you and your bike to the South Tunnel exit (every 30 minutes)
• From the South entrance turn right and follow signposted route as far as the Millennium  bridge in Newcstle. Cross the bridge and cycle down the North bank.
• Stop for a coffee and cake at THE CYCLE HUB.
• Continue to follow the signposted route back to the start.
