A short but pleasant route with good views in the middle section
- START GR573323 Falls of Dochart
- Follow the A827 for 250m SW and turn left onto track just before the war memorial. Turn onto the old railway line. Follow the line of this all the way to Glendhu (530287). Turn very sharp left and follow another railway track to Glenogle Cottages (558283)
- Just before the first cottage take the narrow track to the A85. Cross the A-
road and go into the public car park. Leave the car park in a northerly direction through the picnic area to join a forest track which is followed to Achmore Burn (586305). Turn right and then left to follow the burn before crossing the burn and swinging round to the NE. Follow the track up and then down to the radio mast at (603316) - Join the tarmac trail descending down through the forest to the minor road at (585323). Follow this minor road back to the start.
