- START GR 236350 Car Park at top of Gospel Pass
- Turn N out of the car park and just as the road begins to descend, turn left onto a clear track which steeply to a stream. Keep straight on keeping left of the trees then turn sharp right down to the road.
- Turn right and to a right angle bend in the road, then after 350m (232360) turn left on a bridleway signposted to Llanigon. After just over 1km the track becomes tarmac. Keep on to T-
junction at (215388) - Turn left and then right to Fforddlas. From the phone-
box head SE through Tregoyd and turn sharp left at (193373) towards Pen yr Heol. Follow this road climbing steadily with two steep sections to the end at (211357) - Keep straight on through gates climbing an ever steeper line with zig-
zags near the top to emerge just above a col. Continue SE down a long valley to a farm at (237328) Blaen- bwch. - About 350m after the farm fork left up a bridleway which contours round the hillside, going right round the end of the spur and finally heading NW to join the Gospel Pass road at (243339)
- Turn left back up the road to the car park.
