A flat route, much on waymarked trails.Difficult to find the right route on the singletrack, but does it matter?
- START GR786855 Brandon Country Park Visitor Centre
- From the visitor centre follow the marked path back to the B1106. Turn right along the road to a ride crossing at 795835. Turn left on to the ride for 700m and then turn right through the forest for 1km detouring round a pit to reach another forest ride at (805825)
- Turn left along the track and join the marked cycle trail NE then NW to the visitor centre at High Lodge (811851) From the bike-
hire centre continue to follow the marked route west. Cross the drive and turn immediately left onto a narrow track. Cross the drive again and go straight on. The track curves right to a cross- roads. Go straight across Session Heath before turning left onto a singletrack.. Turn right on the main track to the junction at (796845) - Turn left for 200m then right onto singletrack. At end turn left and then right at the next junction along more singletrack parallel to the main track. Turn right and follow the track back to the main ride at (793843)
- Turn left to the road, and left up the road to Mayday Farm. Turn right into the park for 1km then right again for 2km to a signed cycle trail left. Follow this to another trail, and follow the perimeter of the park back to the finish.
