A straightforward route with no demanding hills, but well worth doing. A good family ride.
- START GR 837433—Cley Hill Car Park
- Follow the A362 East to the roundabout then turn right for 200m taking the second left. After a further 100m turn left again onto a bridleway which descends back to the road. Turn right to another bridleway (843437). Follow this bridleway through the woods onto a good lane and under the A350 to Warminster (864445)
- Turn left on the road and take the third exit from the roundabout through the houses to a T-
junction at (860448). Turn left for 1km, then turn right onto a concrete bridleway under a bridge which is followed past the edge of Norridge Wood to the road at (838459) - Turn right here, and follow the track up through several gates and eventually bearing left to reach the road at (830472). Turn left on the road and take the next left to Corsley.
- Turn right at the church and follow minor roads to (815460). Take the bridleway to the left which climbs up to the A362(817456). Go straight across then fork right to the road at (813445)
- Turn left and follow the road to a bridleway left at (810443). Follow this past Dertford’s Wood keeping straight on to the road at Longhedge. Follow this road to join the A362 beside a phone box., and then cycle along the A-
road back to the car park.
