A pleasant route on a mixture or tracks, single-track and minor roads
- START: GR989272 Car Park on minor road up Cleeve Hill
- From golf club House take the track across the course which descends to the trees at (099272) turn left at gate and descend through the trees to the B4632. Turn right along the B-road and follow it down alongside the river to a fork at (018277)
- Fork right and climb steeply to a junction. Fork right and climb through the trees to a plateau, keeping right at the junction of tracks at (014253) and then straight on at the junction at Wontley Farm to reach tarmac at (010236).
- Turn sharp right through a gate and climb a grassy track towards the telegraph poles. After 400m, turn left through the hedge and go down past trees, then up to a minor road at (904237). Turn right heading toward masts.
- Pass a small wood on the left and turn immediately left down a bridleway to a junction with the Cotswold Way (990246). Follow this down a rutted difficult track. When a track comes in from the left, take a less obvious track to the right which climbs then traverses Cleeve Hill. Follow blue waymarks, contouring round parallel to the B4632 and back to the start.
